๐Ÿ’ก About Casablanca

Casablanca, Morocco's largest city and economic capital, is a bustling Atlantic port where French colonial architecture, palm-lined boulevards and Art Deco facades meet the energy of modern North Africa. It is a city of commerce, ambition and cinematic legend.

Its crowning glory is the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, whose 210-metre minaret rises above the ocean and whose prayer hall can hold 25,000 worshippers โ€” part of it dramatically built out over the Atlantic waves.

While more workaday than Morocco's imperial cities, Casablanca has a stylish, cosmopolitan side, from seafront corniche cafรฉs to a thriving arts scene. Immortalised by the classic 1942 film, its name still evokes romance and intrigue the world over.
