The Best Time of Year to Visit Asia

Southeast Asia

The dry season from November to February is the sweet spot for Bangkok, Vietnam and Cambodia — warm, sunny and comfortable. Avoid the heavy monsoon months and the intense heat of April and May if you can.

East Asia

Japan and South Korea shine in spring (cherry blossom season) and autumn (fiery foliage), both mild and beautiful. China is best in April, May, September and October, sitting between the extremes of summer and winter.

South Asia
